WHO WE ARE
Association of Nigeria Software Testers (ANST) is a professional non-profit organization that is dedicated and strives to build a testing community that views the role of testing as skilled, relevant, and essential to the production of faster, better, and less expensive software products.
ANST manages the professional Software Testing community for professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts in Nigeria. The Association of Nigeria Software Testing Nigeria is dedicated to advancing the understanding of the science and practice of software testing according to Context-Driven principles.
OUR MISSION

Our mission is to improve the software testing profession in Nigeria by allowing software testers to be certified, connecting the Nigeria software testing community, and encouraging innovation and best practices
OUR OBJECTIVE
- We encourage, facilitate, and coordinate partnerships between software testers and information technology practitioners in Nigeria.
- We promote the value of software testing as a profession to individuals and organizations.
- We help software testers in Nigeria to be more efficient and effective in their work, through the certification of competencies.
- We organize and host a monthly ANST meet ups to enable software testers and information technology practitioners to socially interact and discuss on current events as well as share knowledge, innovations and opportunities in software testing
- We support the teaching of software testing in tertiary institutions by facilitating programmes to develop skills capacity development and publishing resources that assist in classroom presentations and self-study.
- Create a software testing hub (“TestHub”) to develop software testing skills capacity for the information technology sector in Nigeria

2The Role of ANST
• Encourage, facilitate, and coordinate partnerships between testing professionals and testing researchers.
• Support the teaching of software testing in tertiary institutions by facilitating programmes to develop skills capacity development and publishing resources that assist in classroom presentations and self-study.
• Support platforms that promote the collaboration of testers, employers, tertiary institutions and other relevant agencies to develop the software testing profession in Nigeria
• Organize and host a monthly and quarterly meet ups to enable testers to socially interact and discuss on current events as well as opportunities in testing
• Organize an annual ANST Conference to bring together developers, testers, enthusiasts and researchers in an exchange of testing practices, theories, and techniques.

Yes. We do not charge you to be a member. We source for funding from sponsors, partners and members who voluntarily support our projects.
